Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the Earful app and website (“Earful”). By creating an account or using Earful, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Earful.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Earful. Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@earfulpod.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
What Earful makes
Earful uses AI to research, write and voice podcast episodes based on your preferences and requests. AI-generated episodes may contain errors, outdated information or opinions, and the hosts are synthetic voices, not real people. Episodes are for entertainment and general information only and are not professional (for example medical, legal or financial) advice. Check important facts with the sources in the show notes.
Using Earful responsibly
Don’t use Earful to request or create content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, that infringes someone else’s rights, that impersonates real people in a misleading way, or that tries to break or overload the service. We may refuse requests, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You keep any rights you have in the requests and questions you submit. You give us permission to use them to provide Earful to you. Episodes made for you are for your personal, non-commercial listening; please don’t republish or sell them.
Subscriptions
Earful offers a free plan with limits and a paid Earful Plus subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings. Prices and plan features may change; we’ll tell you before a price change applies to you.
Our service
We’re always improving Earful and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Earful available but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Earful and its software, design and branding belong to us and our licensors.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile & settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Earful, and we’ll give notice where reasonable.
Disclaimers and liability
Earful is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you haven’t paid). Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Earful after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
